Washington County Public Safety involves all the unincorporated areas of Washington County and seven (7) incorporated cities: Ainsworth, Brighton, Crawfordsville, Kalona, Riverside, Wellman, and West Chester.
The Sheriff's Department, 911 dispatch, records administration, jail, civil process, and disaster services are located at 221 West 2nd Street Washington, Iowa.. The Sheriff is responsible for administering all these entities.
