Civil
The Civil Department processes papers from the Clerk of Court that deal with the civil judgments or actions. These types of documents need to be served upon a person or persons by a deputy sheriff. These papers include original notices, certified notices (bad check notices), wage garnishments, subpoenas, warrants for arrest, and other orders of the Court.
The Civil Department is responsible for condemnations, sheriff's sales, weapons permits to purchase, and concealed weapons permits. There are set fees for these types of civil processes.
